A tragic accident has left this dad & two small children without a wife and mom suddenly.

Hi All, 3 years ago on September 20th 2017 a loving family of 4 became 3, Ron,Taree and Manny Scott became wife and motherless after a tragic car accident occurred in New York USA and Leeanne Scott was killed while travelling with her two friends for a weekend away. 2 out of the 3 travelling were killed that night by a drunk driver, and the survivor has permanent disabilities today. Leeannes husband Ron at the time became an instant widower of Taree (3) and Manny(7months old). Both Leeanne and Ron had moved to USA from the to start a family and new beginnings with their small business plans. After 4 years and two children later Leeanne died in New York and since then Ron has struggled so much with raising the children as a single dad and widower plus no financial help, no benefits, no government assistance and what money they did have went into funeral expenses and tidying up house and bills that arose. Ron had no option but to sell what assets they had to continue living over there, which soon after one year his money withered away. Whenever my family and I can send them money we always do as Leeanne and I had been school friends since high school. Both Leeanne and Ron were only children to both their late parents, which they only had each other as family. Ron has worked doing whatever jobs he Is able plus taking care of his children and raising them alone and with great hardship indeed, he is a fine example as a Dad and individual to put his children first always. Leeanne would be so proud of Ron. And with the situation in the US at the moment with COVID-19,things are and have worsened for The Scott Family and To be very honest my family and I are also finding it hard to financially help my dear loving family over there. I did ask Ron if I could do a give a little page He absolutely was embarrassed that I even mentioned it because he’s a humble, loving, honest, hardworking and a giving man, who only thinks of others before himself, whom I believe is well deserving of a little help for him and his family to get back on their feet. I ask and pray for a little support for the Scott family

With great sincerity my Family would be both greatful and thankful for any donations you can give for them big or small. It can make a Huge difference for them. Currently Ron is two months behind in rent on their apartment in Dansville New York. And with the COVID-19 lockdown in the USA right now Ron is unable to work to pay for their necessities and living needs for the children and himself. He has no family and has only my family to support them. Ron is not the type of man that accepts hand outs and very often turns them down. He’s a very proud 39year old man that needs an opportunity to rise above the waters he has been drowning in over the past 3 years. I do know that the amount of money we wish to raise immediately is around $5000.00 which will convert to around $3200.00USD which at this point could pay his two months rent of $1542.00USD and electricity, cable, groceries, petrol for going shopping to get necessities etc

Kids things while in isolation. I know that it would be a huge help for them at the moment and I realise until lockdown is over in the US I will continue to leave this page open to any donations for them. We would love for them to relocate to NZ and I know Leeanne would Rest In Peace if she knew her family were being looked after by ones she considered her own family too.
