A young aspiring Zoologist on a rescue mission!!

My name is Sineah, I am fundraising money to join a team of volunteers on a rescue mission to save lions held in a breeding/ hunting facility in South Africa! I will be embarking on this journey in November 2023 and will have just completed my BS in Zoology! I have been working hard the last 3 years to be able to work alongside large carnivores in Africa and help protect their population. My passion is African wildlife and I would love for your support if you can

Project Overview:

Zulu is a male lion who has been living alone in a sanctuary in Zimbabwe. He was brought up from a cub with epilepsy and could not be raised with other lions for fear of being killed during a seizure, he was raised with a canine companion who recently passed, leaving him very loney. Thanks to a daring rescue mission organised by our partner at the Lion Sanctuary, we will be rescuing two young lionesses from the canned hunting trade in SA & relocating them to be with Zulu in Zimbabwe. This journey will span over 2,000 km.

The project aims to provide Zulu with the companionship he needs, forming a new pride with two new lionesses, which have been rescue from the cruel canned hunting trade. This project offers a unique opportunity for experienced volunteers to assist in a once in a lifetime experience. A film crew is scheduled to document the incredible journey of Zulu and his new companion and will hopefully be aired in the future.
