So, today is my birthday. Great day actually... I got up early for training, fixed a training wheel puncture, then a day chair puncture. That's 3 punctures in two days! I'm not even upset, I'm thankful I have the hand function to do it. I'm thankful I have the ability to get new one tubes in NZ & I'm not in a rush. Many things to be thankful for actually...
Then carried on with my Tokyo prep, getting computer speedo set up, wheels, brakes etc. Even had a chance to fix up some rear lights for the Mini van while clearing space to do the puncture repairs.
Took my fitness chair gloves to get resurfaced at the local Cobbler. I love that word, look out up sometime and where it comes from.
Now I'm getting ready to go to dinner with a mate. What a day! Honestly, everything you're doing in a wheelchair takes longer, but luckily we wheelchair live longer too, so kinda makes up for it.
Anyway, thanks again for all your support, means the world (world marathons) to me. If there's anything I can do for you, or someone you know, make contact and we'll work something out.
You got this 🐿👍
