Help keep Act Three Productions alive!

Act Three Productions have been bringing musical theatre to Palmerston North for over 120 years. We provide a safe environment for our volunteer society to express themselves and provide award winning shows to our community.

Since 2020 we have been working to stage the musical We Will Rock You and we finally got to share it with audiences in August 2021. Unfortunately, due to COVID19, we had to postpone the season after performing only four shows. This has left our society in a precarious financial situation.

We are asking you all to help keep this society alive so we can keep providing shows to the Manawatū community and provide a space for our members to express their love for theatre. Without your help, we may need to wind up our society indefinitely.

About us

Act Three Productions, founded as the Palmerston North Operatic Society, has a proud record of providing quality musical theatre to the people of the Manawatū for more than 100 years. A volunteer based society founded and driven by the love of theatre!

Use of funds

The money raised will be spent on costs incurred whilst attempting to produce We Will Rock You following the postponement due to COVID19, allowing us the ability to move forward as a society and produce more local theatre in the future.
