The NZ Talent Network was built to provide community hubs tailored specifically to the needs of actors, musicians, models and photographers in New Zealand. We give access to vital resources and foster meaningful connections within the industry, empowering creatives to thrive in their careers.
Navigating creative industries in New Zealand can be lonely and difficult to do on your own and often times the journey can seem daunting. Many talented individuals struggle to connect with peers/mentors who can offer guidance and support, stagnating opportunities for growth.
Noticing a lack of centralized platforms in NZ for actors and extras, Malcolm (Actor/Founder of NZ Talent Network) saw a pressing need for a dedicated support system that addressed those barriers within the industry.
Now a vibrant community of over 20,000 individuals, we have acting classes led by industry professionals, networking brunches, community-led short films to provide valuable on set experience and personalized showreel advice and support.
However, currently all of the network events, brunches, workshops etc are based in Auckland. We’ve had Christchurch & Wellington practically begging us to come down.
We are very excited to announce that we are coming... and NEXT MONTH!
We plan to do the same as what we've done in Auckland. So any donation, big or small, will be going towards helping others network, develop skills and get closer to their dreams.
