Adam and Kayla

Adam had his first surgery on Tuesday morning - it lasted approx. 7 hours and they have done skin grafts to his hands and legs, taking skin from his back, stomach and thighs. They also had to use donor skin. He is being tube fed protein to increase protein intake. He is on pain relief which is keeping him as comfortable as possible. He is in good spirits considering, he was still able to make a few jokes with us when we visited the hospital yesterday. There has been an overwhelming community response here with a huge amount of donations of furniture, clothing, bedding, toys etc. From the bottom of our hearts, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has been able to contribute in any way they can
