Lisa, Tane and 4 children are experiencing a tough time due to Lisa’s diagnosis of Chiari malformation. Also, their daughter Taya has additional needs and requires specialised care due to having a feeding tube

Lisa’s symptoms cause her to be dependent on support for their children’s needs while Tane works

Lisa experiences severe headaches, impaired vision, fatigue, compressed spinal fluid and fluid building on her brain.

Lisa will undergo brain surgery to improve her quality of life and relieve her symptoms

To speed up the process Lisa has undergone the route of private medical care due to long public wait times and these costs have piled up due to multiple MRI and CT scans as well as specialist doctors assessments/visits for her various health conditions due to her diagnosis.

Lisa has a long road of recovery including rehab

Funds would cover the costs of already massive medical bills and support the care/wellbeing of the 4 children pre and post Lisa’s surgery. Taya requires her own carer and someone who is confident to support her medical needs

Funds would go towards medical debt, respite/child care, costs for travel to/from appointments, costs associated with Lisa’s operation and financial support due to loss of income over the next 2 years and living costs
