Help us Help Fiji Orphans - The Treasure House

$200 of $50,000 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in 8 weeks

We are taking 20 of our boarding girls plus parent help 30 in total, to Nadi Fiji to work in and with The Treasure House Orphanage.

Manawatu / Whanganui

For over 15 years we have had girls from Fiji here at the hostel (Ad Astra Hostel - Wanganui Girls' College) and have gained so much from them in ways the girls haven’t realized.

As a hostel we are always looking for opportunities to help and we have often talked about a hostel trip to Fiji (mostly for the beach life) and this year the girls have decided, this is the year.

We are planning on spending 7 days working at or with The Treasure House children's home to help the team and the children. These are almost the forgotten children. We will go with love and care to share with them and this will also grow our girls.

We will also take clothing, sports equipment and gifts for all the children as sometimes these are in short supply. Your help in providing some of these things would be helpful.

Please help us to help them.

Working Hard  25 May 2015

The girls are working hard at raising funds for the trip.

We have held 2 car washes at the hostel and that raised $400 and another $600 from a Mothers Day Raffle.
