Not the news we want to share but here is an update.

Hey everyone, unfortunately the tumour has grown so much that I am no longer a candidate for Cryoablation. To say I am gutted is an understatement as I have been doing everything possible to make it happen so that I get this treatment. But the universe has other plans.
I am being booked in for urgent surgery next week as it is pressing on my bowels and could cause an obstruction if left for any longer. I am scared of what this means for the future and how this will affect our lives but will take it one day at a time.
I wanted to check with you all because originally this fundraiser was to help me get Cryoablation treatment and cover the travel costs associated with this as well as the treatment. I had spent some of this on a private consultation, arranging our passports in anticipation and also on a homeopathic doctor and remedies to support and prepare my body for this treatment but most of it is largely untouched as we never got to book it all in.
We are hoping to use this money towards costs associated with my travel to Auckland & anything needed for my recovery post surgery. We wanted to check that this would still be ok with you all? There is still a chance that the tumor will regrow after surgery and I will need cryoablation then too. If anyone has any problems with this change of plans and would prefer we return your donation please get in touch with the Givealittle team by the 22nd December to arrange a refund.
