AED Outdoor Lock-box Funding

$300 of $840 goal
Given by 7 generous donors in 4 weeks

Funding to buy a storage box with keypad to store an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for use in the community.

Auckland

The Board of Trustees at Otaua School have purchased an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) which is a safe and easy-to-use machine used to treat Sudden Cardiac Arrest. This machine will be available to the local community in the unfortunate event that it is required.

Sadly, AEDs are are often the target of theft and vandalism. As such we are looking to purchase an outdoor cabinet with keypad lock to keep this valuable resource accessible but safe.

Whilst the Board of Trustees has covered the cost of the AED and will continue to cover the cost of the ongoing maintenance, we are looking for support from our local community to purchase the box.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to our very kind donors thus far.

The Otaua Preservation Society has today very generously offered to meet the cost of the lock box.

Any additional funds raised will be used to purchase a sign with emergency contact details to accompany the lockbox.

Your support is very much appreciated!
