A family in Afghanistan seeking safety from the Taliban.

We are fundraising for a family in Afghanistan whose lives are in danger due to work they have done for NGOs and Western governments. This includes work defending the rights of women and girls across Afghanistan.

They have three daughters, aged between 2 and 7. They aim to get them to safety by attempting to travel to Pakistan to seek asylum in a third country. They have two pending applications for relocation to other countries, but these cannot be processed until they have left Afghanistan.

They have been unable to work since the Taliban takeover. We hope to raise enough money for the family to travel to Pakistan and survive there for two months.

For safety reasons, we are not disclosing the identities of the family yet.
