A home of innovation for future kiwi entrepreneurs

Christchurch, Canterbury

Kia ora everyone,

I'm Ricque from Christchurch, and I'm starting a nonprofit to tackle a real opportunity (and gap) right here in Aotearoa:

Right now, anyone with basic Python skills or AI tool know-how can set up "lazy" passive-income projects — things like AI-generated print-on-demand stores, automated newsletters niche chatbots etc.. - that earn consistent money with minimal ongoing effort (often just 1-3 hours/week after setup).

These are proven solo-operator models that regular people are using to generate $3,000–$30,000+ per year - But here's the problem: most Kiwis are without coding backgrounds, older folks, or people from non-tech fields) have brilliant business ideas but get stuck because they don't understand the tech side. They see the easy Python code or instructions online... but it might as well be a foreign language.

That's where this nonprofit steps in.

We're building a free (or low-cost) community hub to bridge that divide:

Matching skilled AI devs/volunteers with non-tech entrepreneurs who have the ideas.

Providing simple guides, templates, and hand-holding to launch these low-effort AI projects.

Running workshops, mentorship pairings, and shared resources so anyone can turn an idea into a real online money-maker — without needing a degree or years of study.

If you've ever felt left behind by tech, or you want to help others catch up and succeed — please chip in today. Share this page with friends, whānau, or on socials. Together we can make AI work for everyone

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
