Creative NZ has supported this exciting project to a certain level, but we need a top up for essential production expenses.

Akitio is a short film project that captures the essence of iconic Poet James K Baxter

In the film and within a stunning landscape he writes the renowned poem 'At Akitio'.

We need funds for extra production, editing and soundtrack costs, and we would like to be able to offer a koha to our amazing crew.

Akitio is in the arthouse genre of film making and we have plans to place the completed film into local and international film festivals.
