Alan McClure's Toy Run NZ Version

Raising as much money as I can, so I can purchase toys to hand deliver to Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland on Christmas Day.

Auckland

Recently, my older brother, Alan, passed away. He used to run a self-funded charity in Sydney, where he would buy and collect toys to give to less-fortunate children on Christmas Day. He believed that no child should wake up empty handed on Christmas Day. He did this by buying and collecting toys himself, whilst accepting donations from friends and family. His vision was to hand deliver the toys himself to orphanages, hospitals etc. I have left the link on this page to the Facebook page he originally created.

After Alan's death, his friends in Sydney have raised over $10k to put towards new toys so they can continue his dream.

In saying this, I have started this New Zealand version so I can expand his charity to shores, where I am hoping to raise as much money as I can so I can purchase toys to hand deliver to Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland on Christmas Day.

If you already have toys that you wish to donate, email me at christianchappell@hotmail.com and I can come and pick them up from you.

Use of funds

The money will be used to purchase new childrens toys.
