Alania's road to recovery!

On the 13th of February Alania came home from school with a headache and an upset stomach, over the coming days Alania deteriorated becoming extremely lethargic, the doctors put it down to a gastro bug and Alania was sent home from the medical centre. 15th Febuary Alania was vomiting and was still lethargic and was becoming unresponsive. Alanias parents rushed her to the medical centre where they transferred her to ED via ambulance. Alania was admitted and spent 4 days in the childrens ward. On the 4th day they decided to do a MRI scan and sent her to Star Ship where they found that Alania had had 2 strokes in her frontal lobe. Alania has been diagnosed with cerebral vasculistis and cerebral isahemic frontal lobe they also discovered that Alania is missing a major artery that supplys blood to her frontal lobe and her frontal lobe is being starved of oxygen. Alania is required to under go x2 life saving brain surgeries at starship hospital to restore the blood flow back into her frontal lobe to ensure she can live a long and healthy life
