Hi, my name is Alex

I am a father of two, fiancée to one, son of two.

In November of 2023 I was diagnosed with cancer, which has since spread to my lymphs.

I have undergone high-dose chemotherapy, but tumours are still present. I may require a retroperitoneal lymphatic dissection, which is a lengthy and risky surgery, with potential for cancer to continue to spread to my lungs and brain.

Dying from cancer is simply not an option for me right now. My children need a father in their life and I intend to fulfil that role with no exceptions.

The therapies are expensive and time is of the essence. I have pulled together the money for my flights, and my parents have pulled together the money for treatment by selling their possessions. My father and business partner works incredibly long hours at the age of 78 to keep our family business afloat, so it is important that I recover fully and replenish the over $35,000 he and my mother have given me.

There will be ingoing costs surrounding my time at the clinic, and at home. Any money donated to my cause will be distributed between these costs and my parents reimbursement.
