Alia's going to Moscow, Russia for Sports Climbing

Alia Robinson is a 14 year old high school student in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

She has been rock climbing since she was 5 and since she was 9 has been climbing every week at the Vertx Climbing Gym in Palmerston North and competing around the country at competitions. The climbing gyms have been come like a second home for us & we've seen so much more of the country and clocked up some kms in the car in the last 5 years.

She has been very successful competing, winning National Champion Titles in 2014, 2015 & 2017. She came runner up in 2016.

She is very passionate and when there was a chance to represent NZ on the International stage she went for it. She trialled in March 2018 and won a place in the team travelling to Moscow, they are leaving on the 30th of July.

Climbing NZ has amazingly put together a package for travel that has come in at $5500, included is all flights, accommodation, food, competition fees, visa's, insurance, uniform and much more.

We have had some very generous donations from family and have been promised some sponsorship, which I will update when received.
