Alice’s healing is going well, so this means we are ready for the next round of surgery to make her fully toothless.

Alice is at home again today after a 2.5 hour surgery to remove half of her teeth. As her teeth were tricky to remove, it was decided to do the removal in two stages so it is safer for anaesthetic times and freshness of the vet’s hands.
So the wee sweetie gets to have quarantine in the spare bedroom, only eat mushy food and have regular pain medication for the next few days while we hope healing goes swiftly and smoothly.
The next surgery will be in the next 2-3 weeks depending on how healing goes.
