Alice's improving condition
23 September 2018Alice is breathing on her own, is aware but gets tired very quickly. The infection on her brain looks to be called encephalitis this has possibly given Alice a mini stroke as she is paralyzed on her left side (arm/leg), but with rehab will improve. She has short term memory loss which we hope will also improve over time. She is looking at 3 to 6 months of rehabilitation but currently still in the ICU due to the fact her skull is still open. She is continuing to fight like only Alice can and doing remarkably well considering what she has been through so far. Maree and Bevan also remain in wgtn to support Alice, putting all her needs before their own.
