Raising funds for a Habitat for Humanity build project in Fiji (expenses and koha).

Bula (Hi), friends and family from NZ (and afar)! We're – Alison & Corinne – two intermediate architectural graduates from Auckland that have decided to join Habitat for Humanity on a Global Village build in Fiji.
In our natural habitat, we’re often found behind our computers drafting everything from large multistorey hospitals to the gutters of well-loved historic buildings. We love what we get to do, and are excited to get back to the grassroots of it all – working and meeting with local communities and getting a better sense of what good architecture might mean for others.
In show of true generous kiwi spirit, we are planning on taking a koha (or donation) with us to gift to the Global Village build project. This will enable the GV team to continue their amazing work of serving the vulnerable and less fortunate who are often trapped in cycles of generational poverty.
In terms of expenses, we have self-funded most of our trip, but are also reaching out to anyone who might like to help lighten this load! Any contribution – big or small – is appreciated, and if this is any way out of your means, we ask only that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Please note, contributions via Give A Little do not have a tax deductible receipt; should you require one, please be in touch via email and we’ll advise best mode of payment. Please also let us know if you have a preference where your contribution goes towards.

Public Presentation 20 May 2018
NAWIC, in association with T&R Interior Systems have invited us to speak about our Habitat for Humanity trip to Fiji earlier in March this year.
Many of you have been asking to hear more about it, so this your chance to get up close and personal with us and our stories, and we promise to stay till all burning questions are answered. This is also a chance for us to get to know a bit more about each of you, so if you happen to be in the area, please do join us for this free event! We'll also be sharing how much we've managed to raise for the project :)
