A last holiday for Alison and her family.

Last week my amazing friend Alison discovered that she has end-stage cancer. Alison is a young mother of four children, one who is about to start school this year. She is, without exception, the best person I know. In the past she has held down several jobs to help support her family, while also studying, working as a volunteer and fundraising to help others at the same time. She is also the best mother I have ever known and even now is only thinking of her children and her partner. She has taught so much to others (including myself) with her warmth, her awesome sense of humor and by being such a positive role model. Now all that Alison and her partner can wish for is to be able to take their family on a last holiday to Australia and to do some fun things together to leave the children with some positive memories. Unfortunately funds are tight and with such a short time left they can only hope that others can help make their final wish for Alison and her family come true.
