Alycias daily battle with diabetes finger testing ..

My beautiful daughter Alycia is 8 years old and has had type 1 diabetes since she was 2.

Testing her blood with multiple finger pricks a day has always been a battle for Alycia.

Along with diabetes Alycia also has ADHD and it’s a constant battle to get her finger tests and to try get her blood sugars into a good range , which would be healthy for her.

I really wanted to try the new libre scanner which pops onto the arm ( pain less), and scans alycias BSL pain free , and most importantly Alycia is happy to test multiple times a day now..

we are getting her blood sugar levels back to a healthy range and Alycia is happy to start learning more about her diabetes..

How ever... as much as this device is a life changer for my family and her teachers st school not just Alycia, sadly I am a solo mum of 3 kids and this device is not cheap..

I have struggled to find her scanner now for a few months , as we need to change it every 2 weeks for a new scanner .

I am struggling to come up with the money to fund this fantastic device and am dipping into the food and bills money..

This device really is a life changer for Alycia
