For the next year I am going to the remote island Ambae, Vanuatu, with VSA as a Computer Training Advisor. Please support me and VSA

Vanuatu is a developing South Pacific Ocean nation made up of 86 islands. Most of the islands are steep, with unstable soils and little permanent fresh water. 80% of the population lives in rural areas where agriculture is the main source of their livelihood.
There is a lack of access to educational opportunities, particularly in rural areas.
My assignment is at a rural training centre to assist in the use of computer technology to improve the delivery of training to students and their communities and increase employment opportunities.
Please consider donating some money towards this and other Volunteer Service Abroad (VSA) projects through this page. It is simple and secure and 100% of your money will go to VSA.
VSA is New Zealand’s largest and most experienced volunteer agency working in international development. Volunteers share skills and experience with countries in the wider Pacific to build a better future, working to transform lives and create a fair future for all. VSA works with in-country partners overseas to make sure that all assignments are locally identified, locally relevant, and locally delivered.
Sir Edmund Hillary was the founding President and believed passionately that if people work together in equal partnership they can achieve great things.
Please check out www.vsa.org.nz to learn more about either supporting or working with this amazing organisation.
I have been working in the IT industry for more than 20 years. As a volunteer I have the opportunity to share some of my knowledge and experience with a Rural Training Centre on Ambae Island, Vanuatu.
