We are the St Ignatius Girls Football Team – a passionate group of 12 Year 7 and 8 students who are proud to represent our school and our faith as AMDG United at the AIMS Games 2025!
For many of our players, this will be their first time attending the AIMS Games – New Zealand’s largest sporting event for intermediate-aged students. It’s more than just football; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow in confidence, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship on a national stage.
We’re aiming to raise $3,000 as a first step toward our total cost of $15,000 to get the team to Tauranga – covering travel, accommodation, uniforms, and tournament fees. Every dollar helps get us closer to the pitch!
By donating, you’re not just supporting a football team – you’re helping shape strong, resilient young women who are ready to give their best for the greater glory of God (Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam – AMDG).

Use of funds
The funds will help cover travel, accommodation, uniforms, gear, and tournament costs for our girls. If we don’t meet our goal, all donations will still go towards reducing the individual costs for each player so every girl has the chance to attend AIMS.
