Supporting the Boyce family whilst Amelia recovers in Starship and after.
Nationwide
Last weekend Amelia was struck by a car. She was rushed to Starship Hospital and thanks to the amazing team of surgeons, doctors and nurses she is now recovering.
She sustained 6 fractures, three skull, one hip, one arm, and one leg! She is super lucky and extremely brave!
It's been a hard week for the family having to be separated for Caleb's birthday and Christmas.
Flights are horrifically expensive so at this stage a visit is a challenge.
Anything you are able to donate or just share the post would really benefit Adie, Dean, Amelia, Phoebe and Caleb over this time.
Both Dean and Adie are super active in the community so it's our time to give back.
Kia kaha Boyce family!
I am a friend of Adies and wanted to do something to support them through this time. Never a good time for this to happen but even harder during Christmas and increased costs of particularly travel due to COVID events.
Funds will be spent on whatever the Boyce family want or need. Lets just take a bit of pressure off during this time!
Home! 14 January 2021
Thank you again everyone so much for all your support. Airfares, taxis, takeaways, groceries etc etc have been covered and it's really made everything so much less stressful. Amelia is home now until early Feb when we'll go back to Auckland for rehab at the Wilson Centre. She's enjoying visits from family and friends and patting the cats and having them sleep on her bed. She's getting used to being waited on and we're being so well looked after with meals being cooked and care packages being delivered. Wow! Thank you!
Oh you guys!! Thank you so much, big hugs and lots and lots of love xxx
Thank you so so much Anna, its so nice to be home with her!
Thank you Mum, you really didn't need to do that! Was nice to be able to pay for you after all your help, and yes, with support from our amazing family and friends! xx
Thank you so so much 😊
