AMJAZZ Dance Around the World 2016

The Performance class at AMJAZZ Dance Studios is an amazing group of 21 young dancers who have been successful in their audition to Dance at Disneyland in April 2016!

This is a wonderful opportunity for this young group to perform at Disneyland, California Adventure Land, Universal Studios and attend dance workshops with Disney Performing Arts and The Edge Performing Arts Centre. Our Dancers are aged 13 – 18 years old and have been selected from the 350 dancers that attend the AMJAZZ Dance Studios in Rotorua. This is a great educational opportunity which will provide our dancers with experience in different dance styles, teaching and choreography. A trip such as this is priceless, exposing them to dancing internationally, providing the necessary experience for pursuing a career in Dance and/or the Performing Arts.

We are excited that we will perform to international audiences and in the process be representing Rotorua, NZ on an international stage.

The money we raise through Give a Little and our own Fundraising Events will contribute toward to cost of getting our 21 Dancers to America - flights, accommodation, workshop fees and performance fees. We have estimated this to be $4000 per dancer.
