Alexandra man, Amon James Saunders was a hard worker who loved to take his four children fishing and watching them play sport.
Amon, 39, was killed in a car crash in Queenstown on Monday.
He was the sole occupant of his Hilux ute.
The site is a sweeping corner on State Highway 6 near Gibbston, between Queenstown and Cromwell.
