On Sunday, my family experienced the unimaginable — our family home was completely destroyed at 4am in a devastating house fire, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. While we are incredibly grateful they are all safe, they have lost everything they own, from essentials to cherished memories. The children were yet to start school the next day when the fire had taken everything they have saved for, up in flames. With the help of the local communities, the families have been able to receive immediate essentials but will need extra support to further sustain them further.
We are reaching out to ask for your support in helping them rebuild their lives, as they are currently living in tents in the rain our first priority is to provide what we can to get them into better housing. Any donation, big or small, will make a world of difference during this heartbreaking time.
