Well what a wonder! It was a battle on some gutsy routes but I am sitting in 3rd place after yesterdays Qualifiers and heading to finals tomorrow!

The finals will be live streamed on the IFSC YouTube channel. Starting 1pm Thursday 10th in Bern, Switzerland . Which is 11pM in New Zealand on Thursday. If you’re live streaming… exeovt a little bit of a late night! It’s unlikely WAL2 will be out first. But I promise the entire event is a treat. Generally the B (blind) categories compete first for crowd management as these athletes need silence in the arena.

Here’s the link! And again…. Thankyou for being a part of this incredible journey!

    Ngā mihi.

  • July departure to the World Championships fast approaching and a large brand sponsorship still not found.

Kia ora friends, strangers, climbers and whānau!

Well Wow! I am so beyond thankful for every koha, share of this link, kind word and encouragement.

The Salt Lake City World Cup went amazing! I placed a painfully close 5th place, missing finals by less than a mere quarter of a point. But we knew there was only one peak for me this year, and the SLC results show I'm well on the way to an exciting finish at the World Championships in Switzerland, August 8th!!!!

Here's the hard part.... unfortunately I have not found any contributing sponsorship yet as hoped, so my 10k target that we have met still falls short of the funds needed to finish the season in Europe wearing that silver fern with pride.

It's been a tough, awkward, decision, but after talking it through with coaches and fellow athletes, raising this give a little target to 15k will mean I come home without a debt and I can focus on training to the very end!

Please remember that every share of the link makes a huge difference! You do not need to donate to help... but if you do have a little, and never more than you can afford, each of those small donations together has a huge impact.

You are all my team, and I am so thankful for you! I am super aware this is a privilege to represent New Zealand as an adaptive wahine. Thankyou so much for making this possible.

    Much aroha!

ps. moolah raised in June is transferred by give-a-little 20-25th of July. July donations I receive in August.
