Help these two boys get more time with their mum Amy Grace

$18,275 of $15,000 goal
Given by 42 generous donors in around 5 months

My beautiful cousin, mother of two young boys, needs your help to get to the Gerson Institute in Mexico for life-saving cancer treatment.

Auckland

My beautiful cousin Amy Grace was diagnosed with breast cancer just months after her first baby Nico was born. She had a single mastectomy then chemotherapy and fought this nastiness with all her heart.

After being given the all clear her second son River was born.

Now, with her boys just 5 and 2 years old, Amy is faced with fighting the cancer battle again. There is no operation available, only chemotherapy to shrink her tumours. The side affects of these chemotherapy drugs are horrific. Amy has done her own research and, along with traditional medicine, is following a health regime that is proving to shrink her tumours.

This regime is based on therapy provided at the Gerson Institute in Mexico. Amy needs our help to raise enough funds to go to this institute for further treatment.

My cousin Amy is my oldest friend. We are only 9 months apart. We grew up in matching dresses. She is a solo mum to two adorable boys. That she might not be around to see them grow up, breaks my heart. Helping her raise funds for extra treatment is just one tiny part of helping her cancer battle.

Use of funds

The funds raised will be used for travel and therapy costs at the Gerson Institute in Mexico.

More information about the Gerson Institute can be found here: http://gerson.org/gerpress/

Thank you!  13 March 2017

We have been so overwhelmed by the generosity of donations. Amazingly we had one donation that in one go enabled us to meet our target... so Amy Grace is going to Mexico for her treatment! She is soooo truly and utterly thankful and grateful.

Amy is planning to write about her Mexico experience so she can share her learnings with others with similar cancer conditions.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are leaving this page open until its original date. Funds that we raise above our original target will be used to enable Amy to take her boys with her to Mexico and to share what Amy learns during her time there. Amy is keen to start a blog when she gets back.

xx
