An academic research business case for Lignite to CNG

I am trying to start a consultancy looking at academic case studies both here and in Australia. My work to date looks at a cross discipline study to still use coal and coal fired plants by converting them via gasification to produce a range of products as well as CNG which is carbon friendly. Lignite deposits in NZ - Southland and Australia - LaTrobe contain 300 and 500 years of energy. Rather than wasting money on electric vehicles, wind turbines and solar energy as well as pumped hydro gasification is the best option and best to convert vehicles too. I plan to have an ANZAC style entity which will manufacture the infrastructure both in China, NZ and Australia. For Australia the West-East pipeline will go ahead. Snowy 2 will be stopped and a lignite to gas plant built in La Trobe - Hazelwood will be used as a tech research centre to convert it to gas. In NZ a similar project will start in Southland and we will reticulate from Dunedin to ChristChurch to Nelson and across the Cook Strait. I also envisage an underground CNG pipeline from NZ to Tasmania and from there to Victoria. If my plan works Australia and NZ will have zero need for imported oil, gas will be cheap and families in poverty in NZ and Australia will get CNG free for home and vehicle use.

We would use the NZ SOE Solid Energy as a base as it has legitimate tax losses which can be used in joint venture with other mining entities [I did my PhD on this]. i am also researching Pike Rice coal mine with a view to start mining
