It's time to tautoko/support our friends/whānau as they journey through the next few months with Anahera having chemotherapy & her recovery
Canterbury
Just before Christmas first time parents Pete & Amanda found out their beautiful 4 month old daughter Anahera had a tumour on her ovary requiring surgery and removal of her ovary.
The germ cell tumour was found to be cancerous (choriocarcinoma) and requires Anahera to undergo chemotherapy until April at this stage.
Anahera has completed her 1st week of chemotherapy and is at home with her māmā and pāpā for the moment.
Family/friend
Funds will help ease the financial burden on Amanda, Pete and Anahera.
Amanda was due to return to work in February as her maternity leave was to end however isn't able to now.
