Pastors Andy and Dani Mellsop have been Pastors at Elim Christian Centre West campus for 4 years and have decided to take a leap of faith and pioneer a new church in central Auckland.
This is what they have to say:
"Hey friends and family we want to let you know about something exciting that God has been stirring our hearts with. After alot of prayer, fasting, seeking God we feel He is calling us to take a step of faith to pioneer and start a new Church in Auckland Central. Our hearts are stirred to see a move of God take place and see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the body of Christ in NZ. We believe it’s a new day for the body of Christ, God is doing a new thing and we are so excited to see the Holy Spirit poured out in a fresh way!!"
They have taken a big leap of faith, putting their house on the market and quitting their full time jobs to see God's mission through. We believe that we are one church and one body in Christ and want to support our fellow family in Christ with their endeavours to fulfil an outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

I am one of many members of the Elim Christian West church group that have been touched so deeply by their story, their vision and their ministry. We have felt the Holy Spirit move in our lives more, felt an abundance of faith and felt stronger in Christ.
Use of funds
Buying a new church property, maintaining it, housing our pastors and their little baby and other family needs and requirement. Missionary and outreach, pouring back into the community and serving God!!
