House Fire destroys Family Home in Richmond Nelson
Nelson / Tasman
Anna Wilkinson's Family home in Richmond was pretty much destroyed in a fire due to an electrical fault in the wall behind the washing machine. The heat was so intense that it melted the aluminium garage door.
The family were unhurt but Max had to be rescued by Steve as the fire was close to his room which is amazing news that everyone is safe. The garage was completely destroyed and there was extensive smoke and fire damage to the rest of the house. The house is not in any way liveable.
Anna is feeling very lost and in need of support in all directions. If you have any items that may help get her and the kids back to living semi-normal then let her know. They have no fixed address at this time.
Giving a few dollars will also help out too as there is nothing more stressful to figure out what to do first but it is very easy to send through $10, $20 or even $30 via internet banking or using a credit card.
Imagine if this was you and your kids right now, wouldn't you want to know that people cared.
