Helping Anne get to the 2016 Paralympics

To get to the Paralympics in September 2016 is no mean feat. With trails starting in January 2016 in Australia at Boneo Park. Anne will compete here and need to achieve 60% SEI elegibitly Para Equestrian 3 Star.

Then further qualifying events at the Nationals and Horse of the Year NZ, later this year.

Travel and flying her horse over to Australia costs a lot so I have created this page to help with the upcoming expenses Anne will have.

Anne's story.

In March 2011 Anne had a hunting accident where she fell off her horse and was hospitalised due to her breaking her C4 & C5 vertebrae with paralysis due to the injury caused to her spinal cord.

The doctor's told us that Anne unfortunately would be Tetraplegic but with Anne's amazing fight, determination to be back on her horse and hard work, she bet all odds.

Anne will spend the rest of her lifetime staying fit to ensure she has the best chance of recovery.

Anne also spends time supporting others that go through life changing events, as these events can happen to anybody in the split of a second.
