Raising funds to go to national special olympics in Christchurch- Please help!!

Kia Ora. My name is Aramaea Mafi. I am 20 years old. I am a 6 foot 8 gentle giant who just lives for basketball. I have been selected to represent Nelson at the Summer Games in Christchurch for National Special Olympics, in December 2025.
I need to raise some funds to pay to go, and I would like to raise $1,000.
This will pay my share of the teams expenses and some gear for me, including a pair of size 15 basketball boots.
I am currently not working, but studying full time, and living at home with my parents.
It would mean a lot to my family and me if I was able to carry on with my sport.
Use of funds
Team expenses, travel, food and equipment, (Shoes, mouthguard, etc).

Hey, guys, I would like to take this time. To say an amazing thank you and a massive thank you to family members and friends and people I know out of the community. Putting a page like this up, was the hardest part. I’m not a person who likes to do things like this. Shoutout to Murray Leaning. My best friends Dad. He has supported me with this. I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has donated. Anything helps, to me it dosent matter how much or whatever, what matters to me is that you are helping me get there. Appreciate you guys.
