Archie is completing a triathlon every day for 'Stable Hearts'

Hi my name is Archie. I am 7 and go to Lucknow School in Havelock North

Our old neighbours and friends (Michelle and Jill) lost everything when Cyclone Gabrielle hit Hawkes Bay, including their 11 horses! Michelle runs "Stable Hearts" which helps children who are struggling with some aspect of their life as well as those who just love horses.

I was lucky enough to be able to ride some of the Stable hearts horses and I loved going there. I am so sad for them, that they lost all their horses and gear and I really want to help them out.

I am planning to complete a triathlon every day in the month of April! I will swim 2 laps of our pool, run 2x round the block and bike 2km. Please sponsor me by donating to my Give-a- Little page. All the funds will go to Michelle and Stable Hearts.

A bit about Stable Hearts.

The core business of Stable Hearts is in therapeutic healing supported by horses and a qualified growth and learning facilitator. Our interventions create opportunities for adults and children challenged by grief and loss, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

Michelle Skafer is the founder of Stable Hearts. Everything she had done in her life has led her to setting up Stable Hearts and following her passion. Michelle believes equine assisted growth delivered to people who are challenged, in an ethical, caring and empathetic way is her calling.
