In an epic undertaking we're going to snorkel the North West Passage in 2016: 3,000km in 3 months. But first I have to secure my place in the team by funding my share of the costs - $20,000 in time for this year's expedition where we will test ourselves and the concept.

Great project. Look out for exotic organisms that might be hitching a ride. If you are lucky there might be lots of lemmings and predators eating them. Shallow tundra ponds like those at Walker Bay, Kent Peninsula are interesting places. Do not know what you are going to do to keep your lips warm. That is the first thing I found to limit ability was cold lips when snorkling in the Aleutians. Can't talk well.
