Ariahs road through heart surgery and recovery

Ariah is a sweet 8 year old little girl and has a heart condition called tetralogy of fallot and has asthma also coeliacs disease. she had open heart surgery when she was a baby she has done great all these years and wasnt meant to have any intervention untill she was in her teens. After travelling from dunedin to christchurch and back home to dunedin to have a cardiac mri done and her symptoms her cardiologist went to starship hospital to speak with her team and they have decided ariah needs to have another open heart surgery to replace her valve as her heart has enlarged quite a bit and has developed a kink from her heart to her lungs.so now her immediate family are having to travel to starship hospital and will be having to take a few weeks off work and with little to no leave we dont want them to stress over financial things that still go at home.
