An Africa-centered organization committed to promoting academic excellence among young students.
Mount Roskill, Auckland
The African Reorientation Network (ARN) was founded by Dr Wisdom Oghosa Iyekekpolo, a scholar of Conflict and Terrorism studies. It was incorporated in New Zealand on the 1st of July 2022 after months of deliberation among friends and family committed to the African renaissance. ARN is a charitable trust operated solely on the financial and non-monetary academic support of well-meaning individuals and organizations committed to promoting the education of young people in Africa.
Redressing the rising figures of out-of-school children and the spiralling involvement of youths in vices all around Africa is at the core of ARN. This organization advances activities that could increase interest and positively reinforce the desire to be educated. It aims to achieve this fundamental objective by celebrating intelligent and exceptional students discovered through academic competitions between African schools. ARN desires to showcase these intellects and create role models out of them in ways that influence others to study.
Organize academic competitions among students in African cities—rewarding exceptional students and showcasing them as role models to other students and out-of-school children around Africa.
