The Canterbury Muslim Community Trust strongly condemn the terrorist act committed in Auckland today. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their families and everyone who has been impacted by this terrible incident. Violent extremism of any type has no place in Aotearoa. NZ stood with our Christchurch Muslim community following the mosque attacks in 2019, reaching out with aroha to counter that hate. This is something we will never forget. We now send our aroha to Auckland, sharing the pain and showing solidarity.
