Booths is setting up a fund to help out our team members in their time of need however many of our team at Booth's South Island have asked how they can personally help support some of our colleagues fighting cancer. This is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to support our team members in need.
Aside from loss of earnings there are many costs associated with Cancer treatment and recovery including simple things like parking and travel.
The following are current recipients we are raising funds for:
Gavin Gilling - has small cell lung cancer and is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy
Wayne Tibble - has prostate cancer and has recently completed treatment
Jarred Matheson - has bowel cancer and is recovering from a recent operation to remove it
With this page we aim to facilitate getting funds to help them and their family a this difficult time. Initially we will run this page until the end of April and assess the needs from there.
