Te iti o Tahuna is off to Hawaii in less than two months! We are Queenstown's local adult Kapa Haka group. Having only been together for around two years this is very exciting for us as it is our first international competition. Me being only a 16 year old, Year 13 student at Wakatipu High School I feel honoured to have the opportunity to be a part of this trip. We have done a lot of fundraising and I have contributed a lot of my own money to get myself there. However, I still need to raise more money to attend. I made this givealittle page in hope that my friends and family would help me achieve this goal. All donations will be greatly appreciated :) If anyone has any interest in sponsoring the group for things such as uniform/t-shirts etc. then get in contact with me and I'll get you talking to our tutors. The money I raise from this page will go towards the $3000 I have to pay for this trip. The $3000 pays for my flights, accommodation, travel in Hawaii (cars/vans), event entry and food while I'm over there. Thank you for all your support :)
