Asher Pettengell-Brand - New Zealand Athlete - 2022 Oceania Area Championships
Please help support me on my trip to the Oceania Athletics Champs in Mackay, Queensland, Australia in June.

I am a year 13 student at CBHS so I am currently studying, training, working part-time, and help to coach younger athletes at Christchurch Avon Athletics Club. At the recent New Zealand track and field championships I won gold in the mens U18 200m.
I have recently been selected in the New Zealand athletics team to travel to Mackay, Queensland, Australia, to compete in the 2022 Oceania Area Championships in the Mens under 18 age group. This competition is from the 7th of July till the 11th of July. I will be competing in the 200m sprint, the 4x100m relay, and the 4x400m relay. This has been a dream of mine since I first started athletics at the young age of 10 after seeing some older athletes given this amazing opportunity. This is a great opportunity to run overseas against other athletes in warm conditions. This is an important step in my athlete development and looking for larger competitions in the future.
Use of funds
The money will be spent on general expenses such as flights, uniform, food, accomodation, and domestic transport.
