Assault tragedy - Supporting the family of Wynton King

Wynton remains fighting for his life in an induced coma after being brutally assaulted outside a Christchurch bar in the early hours of October 23, 2022.
Wynton’s next of kin and whānau are spread far and wide from Ōtautahi ICU. These funds will be used to support us, to support Wynton. Assisting with our travel, accomodation and food while we embark the unknown with him.
Though he doesn’t know it yet, Winnie’s life has been altered beyond repair and we want to make sure we, his immediate family, can be there every step of the way to support him on this journey.
The funds will be transferred to our mum Heather’s account where she can distribute as needed.
We his family, are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love his many friends are sending our way. We are learning just how truly loved our Winnie is.

We appreciate all your donations, this money is helping us through a truly trying time for my brother and our family. Wynton is still in the post traumatic amnesia stage of his recovery. Physically he is doing well. When I can’t be with him, I call him each day. I count my blessings he remembers who I am and the bond we share. Meri Kirihimete to all, and a wishing you all blessings for 2023
