Auckland

Since 2012 Asylum Paintball has provided you with the best paintball experience in New Zealand. We combine the best equipment, friendliest staff and most exciting fields, with competitive pricing that ensures our customers keep coming back for more mischief and mayhem.

We worked at a number of paintball venues before opening Asylum Paintball and we saw that paintball is treated as a cash cow and a lot of customers are being ripped off. For the love of paintball we wanted to change this. People deserve better and more affordable paintball and that’s the reason why asylum exists.

Over the years we have adapted to our surroundings Asylum is located in the maximum security wards of the former Kingseat psychiatric hospital, the hospital was in operation from 1932-1999, and the buildings had been abandoned until we took over the lease in 2012. Since then a unique mix of indoor and outdoor fields have been developed making Asylum like no other paintball park in New Zealand and the only field in the country that can operate rain or shine. We offer a great experience of paintball and have trained staff who truly live and breathe paintball. Our atmospheric, themed arenas are situated just 35 minutes south of Auckland CBD.

Our main aim is in providing a memorable experience of playing paintball, with high levels of satisfaction and a great customer service. Throughout the years Asylum Paintball’s offered:

Kids Paintball Parties & Teens Paintball Parties - easy to organize, straightforward pricing, all-inclusive party packages, thousands of happy kids, teens and parents over the years. Absolutely loved by sports coaches and school holiday programme organisers for how easy it is to occupy their kids for a day.

Adults Paintball for Stag Dos, Birthday parties, Farewells – affordable classic .68 paintball battles for any occasion when you want to shoot your mates (with balls of paint of course). Having indoor & outdoor facilities and arenas allows paintball parties to happen anytime of the day and day of the year

Corporate events and Team Building - unique facilities, catering, fixed and honest prices. Corporate packages always include gear & armour and unlimited reloads available as one of the options. The staff parties are always better when you have a chance to get back at your boss (by covering him in paint)

Asylum’s ambition has always been to introduce people to, what we believe, is the coolest recreational weekend activity while providing outstanding service. Paintball is fun and we want others to see it that way, we’ve always cherished the relations and wanted our customers to come back again and again.

As we are sure you will understand the beginning of 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic, has been extremely challenging for everyone and the staff at Asylum are no different. Asylum Paintball faces an uncertain future. We are reaching out to you for your support in, any way you can, so that we can keep Asylum afloat and we can continue to keep paintball alive in New Zealand.
