I am Working as a barista, the sole bread-winner of the family, supporting my 11-year-old son and parents. I want help so I can go through this hard time. I was losing $200,000 to scammers posing as Chinese officials on May 2021. During Auckland lockdown in Level 4 and Level 3, I don’t have a job at the cafe that I normally work. However, with the support of many donors and government wage subsidies, my home baking business restarted at level 3. Thank you for all customers who loves my baking, also for those who donated to me, I will continue to my life and be strong ! Thank you

Thank you for your donations Freeman. At that time, I didn’t think it was fake at all in the scam. I only worried that I would leave my only son and family. They couldn’t live without me. I know I will be fine , have to be fine and carry on my life. I will work harder to pay off the loan. Thank you again.

Stay strong! Things will get better! I know how u feel because my mum also went through an online love scam too which resulted her selling our family home. Just be careful out there! There's alot of scammers out there!
