Awhi Tonihi and his Whānau during this Mamae time

Tēnā Koutou,

With Pride, Strength & Dignity Tonihi fought 7 months with Cancer living past his life expectancy. Tonihi peacefully passed away on the 9th of October 2025 surrounded by his loved ones with laughter, tears and waiata.

In his memory we will continue to awhi his whanau. We reach out to you our whānau and friends, with open hearts seeking your Tautoko. “Ahakoa he iti he Pounamu” - “ though it may be small it is indeed a treasure” Each Koha will assist the strain of daily living cost, kai and many other necessities & provide solace and peace of mind during this journey.
