“Ahakoa he iti, he Pounamu - though it may be small it is indeed a treasure”
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
Tēnā Koutou,
With heavy hearts enveloped in mamae & pouritanga, as we tautoko our bro, cousin, Uncle, nephew and valued friend, Tonihi. The mamae reality looms over us as doctors have delivered his medical condition, Stomach Cancer Stage 4 being terminal with only a few months of life expectancy.
Tonihi is a devoted fiancé to Faiyth and his 4 beautiful children Te Tai (17), Kālay (9), Sarge (7) and Dream (5). He embodies the spirit of Te Pou te Whānau, the pillar that holds his whānau together. He has bestowed his life to providing for his loved ones and the Moko community within his small business "Te Ariki Ink". In the wake of Tonihis Hauora, he will be taking a step back from his business to prioritise his health and time with his whānau.
As medical appointments and treatment plans unfold the journey ahead is fraught with challenges that extend beyond the physical and emotional. It brings with them overwhelming expenditures that divert their focus away from what truly matters most - ngā maumaharatanga me ngā aroha i tēnei wā.
Today we reach out to you our whānau and friends, with open hearts seeking your Tautoko to help ease this financial burden. “Ahakoa he iti he Pounamu” - “ though it may be small it is indeed a treasure” Each Koha will assist the strain of daily living cost, kai and many other necessities & provide solace and peace of mind during this journey.
Ngā mihi nui, mō o koutou Aroha, Tautoko me Manaaki during this difficult time.
Close Friends, Third Wheel & Over stayers to Faiyth & Tonihi, Aunty Mary & Aunty Lil to their Tamariki.
Funds raised will currently go towards daily living costs, kai, other necessities that may pop up.
