Surgery and physiotherapy for a very fun loving doggo
Dunedin, Otago
Hi! My name is Pania, i’m a 25 year old struggling student.
I have a 4 year old dog named Azula who is my heart and my whole life.
She is a Rottweiler x Huntaway so as you can imagine, she is quite big.
Unfortunately, recently she has been diagnosed with hip Dysplasia, After a month of slight pain here and there, it got worse and worse and now she struggles to go for walks and chase her ball.
After a $600+ vet appointment for X-rays, anti inflammatories and pain killers, she needs physiotherapy to help her get her life back on track.
She has also torn her cruciate ligament in her hind left leg and now needs surgery and after another $600+ vet appointment, she is now on more painkillers and is no longer allowed to go for walks or play like she used to.
A metal plate will be placed in her leg on her knee to stabilise it and help her get back to playing and being the happy go lucky dog she usually is.
She is intensely limping at the moment and has no use of her leg…
…Shes in so much pain and unfortunately I don't have the money to be able to pay for the appointments or the surgery that she needs and would be ever so grateful to anyone who is willing to help.
Physiotherapy for my dog and anything else she may need to help with her pain.

Azula has been recovering super well!!
The surgeon said the titanium foam has integrated well into her bone and that nothing has moved or broken.
Shes running around and playing again! Loving life and loving playing!
She went for her first proper outting today and absolutely loved every second of it!
Now for physiotherapy!
